For the lady who I met today in the eye clinic who liked taking pictures of flowers etc.

Close up of some faded Orchid blooms I had collected last week from the windowsill and managed to keep from the compost.

Taken with my new Fuji X-E2 camera body with an old legacy (35mm) Tamron SP90 macro lens attached.

Ringflash lighting used off camera so directional with cooking foil reflectors placed close.
Tripod, cable release, black cloth background.

A very textural feel to your composition of the faded orchids. Just the right amount of color with the red bit emerging from the background of faded whitish orchids.

Delicate textures, delicate shades, good ratio of soft to sharp and a very nice composition. Nicely taken and that lens/body combination looks a winner.
