Not sure if this image was taken before or after the one I recently posted from along Trans Canada Highway looking over the Bow River. Once again it was the rugged landscape and the range of green that caught my eye.

A trip best taken in the off season before the snow falls.

How I love the rugged landscape of the Canadian Rockies - it has such a wonderful sense of untouched wilderness. Only thing missing is the Northwest Canadian Mounted Police on their horses with their bright red jackets. A proud and efficient group of enforcers.
