The mixture of the barren branches (and stark vertical tree trunks) and the muted colors of the more distant trees works to bring a dreamlike quality to the picture. The contrast between the sky and the trees brings a sense of depth to the image. In my humble thoughts this is the preferred of the three infrared images.

Thanks Jan, my thought and my favourite too. This time of year when many trees are only partially clad allows us the opportunity to see more of the graceful structure of the trees without the skeletal starkness of the winter months.

To my taste, the lighting on this is best of the 3. Your infrared images look more realistic than I thought they would-- not totally realistic but closer.

Agree with Steve and Jan - this one is your best of the three. I especially love the sky in this one and how the branches of the trees reach up and collectively provide a framing for it. Lovely! Has the look of a grove of Bartlet Pear trees in the springtime.
