Good pose, composition and exposure but the selective softening is a little too strong for my taste to the extent that I see the softness more than the sharp area.

Hi there, I do agree with Vics comments here on the softening.. I think also maybe a tad more light would lift the image too.. Lovely dogs though they are adorable

Thanks guys.... I have 7 dogs so I always have lots of them to photo!! I will go and take a look at the softening as you suggested and lighten it a little. I really enjoy posting on here as the comments are always kind and constructive.
