I was out for a walk this morning searching for some bees to photograph (I actually found some) when I was presented with this view from Point Douglas across the Red River.

In the centre of the image is the Peace Tower for the Museum for Human Rights while in the middle foreground is the Saint Boniface Ice Climb. Along the right edge just above the railroad bridge is my apartment block topped with a rotating restaurant.

Just love all that greenery.

A very pleasing landscape, despite it being in the suburbs of the city. Thanks for explaining the structures we can see. I can understand that you love greenery!

A wonderful view and I love the personal tour you gave us to include identifying your stately apartment building. Little wonder why you love your apartment so much - you live at the top of the world and the views out your windows must be absolutely breathtaking.

It is always nice seeing greenery within the city limits. Nice work Jan,
