We don't get many foggy days since our clean air act back in the 60's just a couple of days a year when it's usually gone by midday.
Streatham Common close to my home and for once the fog hung around long enough for me to get some pictures.

The couple along with the foggy setting works to create a peaceful feel in this picture. About the closest we get to fog this time of the year is having a blizzard and most times that is not really conducive to peaceful walks and taking photographs.

Glad the fog cooperated and waited for you to arrive to take this capture. Your exposure is so perfect - just the right amount of detail and yet the shear veil of fog is still there. Nicely done. I really like how the branches in the foreground are finely defined and pop while the branches further back are covered in the light veil of fog.
