One member of an anti forestry tableau which I saw in the city a few years back. There were half a dozen or so of the living statues.

I cannot imagine standing in one spot for such a long time and become a living statue. Whether or not their anti forestry tableau worked it made a great photographic opportunity... just often does one see a green man... Blue Men... green men no.

Outstanding - I love the green color of the man. Reminds me of when my son was a little boy and he used to play with his little plastic army men and set up battles - they were green too. I would imagine that living statue must get very tired holding that chain saw. Wonderful details and so perfect for the Sunday theme.

These living statues appear to be everywhere in the world. How they stand still for so long is a mystery to me, but I can't resist photographing them and of course, putting a coin or two in the basket
