I took this image on Canada Day (July 1, 2015) at the entrance to Shaw Park. A living Canadian flag was being created from people either wearing white or red t-shirts.

I had asked the gentleman whether I needed to get a ticket to get in and he asked me to take his picture. I thought he wanted a copy so I took a couple of shots but he didn't want a copy.

When I saw this week's theme I thought of the superb street portraits by Vic Chapman.

Now this photo says "Canadian Pride" loud and clear. I love that look in his eye as he holds up his maple leaf flag. What a wonderful photo to post for the Sunday theme - and your exposure is so bang on - especially the colors and details.

He does look rather posed, but it's a street portrait so fits theme.

The red came out well Jan, I have problems with many shades of red. A very proud looking man,
