As we were traveling along the interstate highway in South Dakota we pulled off to explore a little
Ghost Town in Oakton, South Dakota. Saw this old car almost hidden in the tall grasses and my camera wanted to stop for a capture. Adjusted this capture from my laptop - not sure if it's too dark or not. Photo taken in the early morning.

A strong painterly feel to your composition created by the colors, light and textural feel. The black background doesn't always work with posted images but here the contrast between that black background and the various elements in the picture serves to make those elements stand out in the setting.

The car may be old with a derelict feel about it but from your perspective it looks in good shape with glass in the windshield and a headlight still visible.

Yes the tones may be a little heavy Diane - but the car - from this angle - doesn't look derelict.

Your adjustments perfect to my eyes Diane, what a lovely scene. No doubt some enthusiast would be drooling over the vehicle,
David
