I went with friends to the ss Great Britain ship (which is in dry dock in Bristol) recently and there were a group of men, women and children dressed in Victorian clothing. This shot of two men was taken from the deck of the ship looking down to the men on the quayside.

Maybe not really portraits, but I wasn't sure which category to use!

The two gentlemen look quite dapper and their pipes and the one's man cane caught my attention


There should be a historical category to cover images such as this while not truly historical but as close we can get to that particular time in history.

These men in their period costumes look like they were well paid for their chosen professions (alias Tax Collectors). Well done candid shot without any clue they were aware of you and your camera.
