This is an amazing place where a prehistoric stone circle covers a large area including part of a village. See [ link ]

The various stone circles have always intrigued me and the various explanations that have surfaced over the years. The further we go on the more we are discovering about their meaning in their time. When one enlarges the image and sees the distant figures walking along the hillside one wonders, as always, how these stones and the stones for other circles such as Stonehenge were transported to these sites.

We all hear of Stonehenge John but never the lesser circles such as this. An interesting and well composed image,
David
