Another one from this mornings walk over Bushy park spotted this chap on a fence having a bit of brekka he knew I was there but was not bothered as they are used to people

Like you, I find that squirrels in parks are used to people so often easy to get a picture.
Last week, Lucky and I(my Son's Jack Russell) were just leaving the park and we passed a squirrel half way down a tree. Lucky barked and tugged on the lead but the squirrel remained motionless. Only had the compact with me, but there wasn't really a picture there.

Getting ready for winter would be my thought at this time of the year. The catch light in the eye serves to bring the creature to life for me.

We have a lot of squirrels in the area around my apartment block and they pay no never mind to people unless of course the people happening to be carrying a snack for them. Busy this time of the year getting ready for the cold of winter.

I sometimes wish we had them in Australia but I think we have enough 'imports'. Great photo Richard,
