grain silos in Duluth, Minnesota

An early morning walk brought me this image a series of grain silos in Duluth, Minnesota. I like the repetitive nature of the structures and the quality of the light on this morning.

I wish that there would have been some people in the image to bring a sense of scale to the setting but unfortunately at the time there were no people to be found.

My other nit with this image is that I should have either backed up or zoomed out so that the edges of the structures would have appeared in the image.

I like the repetitive lines Jan, but would have excluded the cage-like structure on the left hand side, which breaks up the composition.

Knowing how big some silos are you did well from a close range Jan. I worked with a company by the name of CBH in Western Australia who over years gone by did a lot of developmental work for the Canadian grain authorities,
