Sun rise at Bushy park

Taken this morning in Bushy park I was setting up to take photos of the sun rise when another photog coming past said look behind you mate! and I did and this is what was there

I like the contrast here between the sunlight highlighting the upper portion of the trees and the cooler feel towards the ground.


This time of the year an image such as this really surprises me when I compare the view in Bushy Park with what I can see out of my apartment window... though obviously winter in both locales your image reminds me of the days when I grew up in Vancouver, B.C. and the cold and the snow of winter was something out east of the Rockies.

Yes, looking behind you is often a better shot than the one you intended taking.

Sometimes a sunrise (or sunset) is better at the reverse view. Lovely golden glow Richard,
