The cold day has almost ended, and we ended up in the town where we lived 21 years ago. My husband found us a nice restaurant while I tried to make some pictures, just to compare them with the night shot I was planning to make - I will upload that one next.
I could have used a gamma correction to make the picture lighter, but this was the atmosphere at that particular moment.

So this is something I shall see for real soon Smile nice to see a sneak preview and I think you were right not to gamma correct here, its nice to see an image as it actually was at the time.

I do like the light here Els, so glad you didn't use the gamma. Good colour and fine detail regardless of the fading light,
