I like the desaturated BG, allowing the rose to pop out.

Hello Larry

I hope your weekend is going well my friend.

A really superb shot of this rose my friend the textural detail is wonderful. Two very tiny things I will mention.. firstly I might have cropped just a tad from the left to decentralise a little and secondly your BG has gone just a tad grainy from the desat.. not that it matters at all but you could select this area and run a blur filter to soften it a tad.

Hi Larry,
Great capture of the rose and nice PP work with the desaturated background, the central position of the rose seems to work well here, the background is suffering from some noise but thats no real distraction as the eye is drawn to the rose all the time.
