...."Geese - I"....

Sharing a little fun. Our youngest son has been home for several day, from the city. He needed some time away from the desk and back to the country, tractor and chain saw.

We have been watching these geese gather for 3 days just south of our home. Friday Mid Morning we decided it was time for pictures. We got within 50 yards when they exploded into flight.
Hope you had a GREAT Sunday!!!
Thanks, so much, to everyone for looking in and special thanks to all who leave comments. - Larry

Hi Larry,

This is like a scene from a thriller .....
Amazing to catch yourself such an amount of flying geese. I can imagine the sound they made was ear deafening.
This sure was something different for your son then sitting behind a desk!

Good shot Larry, looks like a mixture of Canada and Snow Geese. Last year I got several shots of Snow Geese at a refuge and then at another, Blue Geese and Canada. We set out to get some Eagle shots and got quite a few of those also. This year we saw six Trumpter Swans in flight at that refuge but no Snow Geese.

"LAX this is Goose14657 - am I cleared for landing?" Smile I think this is an ATC's version of a nightmare! I like the fact that there is nothing except geese in the shot. The shot is all about flight, cooperation, awareness. Good work Larry!
