...."Geese - II"....

Sharing a little fun. Our youngest son has been home for several day, from the city. He needed some time away from the desk and back to the country, tractor and chain saw.

We have been watching these geese gather for 3 days just south of our home. Friday Mid Morning we decided it was time for pictures. We got within 50 yards when they exploded into flight.
Hope you had a GREAT Sunday!!!
Thanks, so much, to everyone for looking in and special thanks to all who leave comments. - Larry

Fine capture. I think they are heading North now.

Great to have your son home for a while.
I know those geese, it is fun to see how far you can approach them and then of course have your camera ready - beautiful line in this composition against a deep blue sky.

A lovely shot here Larry

Nice stop action detail and superb positioning within the framing leaving good space to fly on.. oh and the colour of that sky is just superb!

Thank you for posting
kind regards Helen

Hi Larry,

Great composition and capture of flight. I really like that each bird has its wings in a different position as for me it adds to the overall picture.

Hi Larry, this reminds me of the wall ornaments of years ago with the flight of birds. Good colour and enough room for the birds to 'fly' into, nicely done,

Nice composition Larry. IT also reminds me of the plaster "flying ducks" which people had on their walls in the 1950s-60s.

I never tire of watching the Canada goose make it's way south and again return to the North. The wonders of Nature
