Rhea Scary bird 1

OK peeps this is without a doubt the most scary set of images I have ever taken.


Whist vising the farn two weeks ago we came upon these bird that look like a small Ostrich. They are called Rhea and I detail a little information about them below.


So why was it scarey.. well I was stood at the fence trying to get as close as I could as I only had my small lens.. and I was not sure how close I was getting to the bird... do you see the lenght of the neck on it!!! I was pannicking that at any moment it would stick that long neck through the fence and peck my camera! This is one of three images taken.

Great one, Helen!! Stunningly shap and detailed shot...don't think it was that easy to capture all that detail as i don't reckon he stool still while you shot him (photographically) Smile Love the flash burst showing on the eyes...Superb!!
