Cumberland fell pony at Mungrisdale. These ponies live wild on the fells. Although they are really quite friendly and came up to be tickled.

When I look at these pictures I'm struck with the awe of it all. I can't imagine living somewhere so beautiful and where you can see wild ponies and such. Great picture.

On my PC at work the background looks very over exposed. Doh!

I like the way you caught the pony rubbing on the stone, that adds an element of life to the image, the grass and rock add texture... but, as you say, the background looks very washed out. It looks like the detail is in there, it just needs tweaking down to show it and add the atmosphere to the image.

She is just adorable and to capture him at this moment your timing is... perfectly captured lol. I agree about the BG but for me the pony is just right.
