Did you get the jilt in the title there? This is the first of two more shots I took at the farm a couple of weeks ago. This Turkey really was strutting his stuff around the yard. Please excuse the tight crop here but there was a large red tractor close by that I wanted cropped from the shot.

Helen, Hi:

Marvelous series, amazing colors and details. We have turkeys in the wild near us. While walking on Sunday, the dogs and I came across 50 or 60 just to the north of our home. Your series here is wonderfully done, Congratulations.

Great detail in this wonderful shot, Helen. Love the detail in the turkey's plumage. This certainly is a Playturkey...it will be featured in the next Playturkey Magazine Nah!

Thanks for posting

I have to say I prefer the side on POV to the head on one - it makes more of the shapes and textures in the feathers. Still feels like its missing some condiments, flavourings and an assortment of vegetables ;-)
Cheers....Mark

Hi Helen, I visited a historical farm here a couple of years back and too some shots of the turkeys, unfortunately I was in heavy shade at the time. This is super, good colour and detail and the tight crop works well. They are not the most glamorous of birds,

I ove gaujolotes, or turkeys. This one is certainly magnificent andthe way he was carrying about. The details on the feathers are superb.
Congratulations
