Hunting Island is a barrier island southeast of Beaufort, South Carolina. The beach has been eroding for a number of years. The fallen trees and other debris is, for the most part, the result of this process and not always storms.

Rather a nice picture here Steve, good composition. It may not be storm ridden but it sure looks that way. A couple dust spots which hopefully are only on your lens.

Marvelous composition of nature at work. Wonderful colors and details impressively presented. Have a good weekend. Larry

I have seen this and commented on it on WA Steve, still like it but this version seems to need more contrast.

I think it is the angles you have used with the great colours that attracts me to this one. Terrific composition in my eyes. Excellent.

A good composition - it's amazing that palm trees can survive on a beach and the process you are showing here is very interesting.

Thanks

Hiya Steve

A very nicely composed shot here, love the colour and lighing in particular, bit of a shame about the dust ghosts but I had a run of shots with them in a few days ago too.. to be honest I had not even noticed them as I thought it was a mark on my muckly laptop screen... now I always do a dust bunny check just before I upload lol.

Thanks for posting
Kind regards Helen
