With the imprisoned look in the river Liffey, in Dublin, I left the memory to flow in the waters that much of my idols had also looked at so many and many times.

By memory I remember: in literature James Joyce, W B Yeats, Samuel Becket, Oscar Wild, and G. Bernard Shaw;

In the music: Dubliners; Pogues; Van Morrison; Sinnéad O'Connor; Bono, Edge & C. (U2); and so many others;

And in the drinks, John Jameson and Arthur Guiness of the mythics whiskey and beer with their names.

Each one to its way had great importance in my life, as much to the pleasure level, as to knowledge level.

With the photo I present today is my intent to homage to Irish and Gaelic culture, and to the wonderful Irish people.

Wonderfully done, Jose. Splendid atmosphere and expression of mood. Marvelous notes, as well. Thanks, my friend, for presenting this very fine composition. I hope your family had a wonderful Easter.

Fantastic picture, very dramatic and a wonderful composition. The only thing I would question is about Dexys Midnight Runners, they were from Birmingham and not Ireland. Great picture anyway

I'd maybe like the highlight toned down a little but a super picture anyway. You certainly got the Irish vote Jose.

Just had a chance to look at your captures online. They are so dynamic and this one jumped up and captured my full attention. I love how you composed it with the tall city buildings on one side and the huddled mass of apartments and houses on the right. But your exposure is drop dead gorgeous.
