Leslie & I went to a local dog show Sunday. Most of the judging was indoors. I didn't take my tripod, as I thought it too intrusive. I was right. No flash-- again, too distracting and probably unwelcome. This was my first attempt at such an event. Great fun but incredibly difficult. None of the shots turned out well. This panning attempt (I've not tried that skill before) at least got something nearly in focus while still showing some motion. Check the EXIF- cranked up ISO to 800, f5.6. This one's not cropped, though it should be. More illustrative than any attempt to garner praise. Advice on technique is welcomed and clearly needed.
