And what a great capture it is too ! I like it a lot. May I suggest a crop in from the left side to the first tripod leg and bump up the levels to increase the darkness in the shadows ? See what you think.

What a great idea hereI must take some self portraits like this I could do with looking taller lol. Nicely composed and it does indeed sound like a great place to shoot.

Been trying to do something similar for ages, never been satisfied with the result. This is very good. I like the start shape of the shadow's contrast with the rocky backdrop.
