The view from our gate looking eastwards, some mornings this week have had prettier sunrises but I try and take a photo for the theme on the day or the day before.

My apologies for the lateness of my responses to comments but my health has taken a slight downward turn. Added to that two trips of about 180km round trips to have some dental work done and I am feeling a little stressed.

I like the perspective and light in this capture. Great mood and very well seen. A very good entry for today's theme. The composition is quite good as is but IMHO the composition could be improved by a crop on the left side into the outer branches of the tree and on the right to have the wires running into the top right corner. I also feel that a little bit taken off the bottom to the grass verge would help.
Regards, Phill.

I didn't expect to be impressed with this before I opened the thumbnail but I am. I like the composition just as you have it. We all have our own ideas of course but to my mind the whole format ratio is spot-on. Also yo need that small area a lighter path at the bottom to extend the separation twixt pole and ground. I really like the subtleness of the colours and the low sunlight hitting the underneath of the cables.
Yep - I like this - a lot.

Hi there David

This my friend is an awesome shot and has to be viewed in full to really appreciate it. I love both the lighting and the composition here and what a superb shot for the theme.

I am very sorry to hear about your health and lord knows I dont envy you the dental work. I hope you can chill a little now and that things start to pick up for you soon my friend.
Thank you for posting
Kind regards Helen

Silhouettes and light are just perfect here David.

Hope you are recovering a bit and just the mention of dental work gives me a creepy feeling, so take care,
