Hi David,
Moments like this are so beautiful, from seeing your pictures I went in seach for a place where I could also make pictures in the fog - not very easy...
Here that seagull and his soft reflection add to the peaceful feeling one get from looking at your picture.
Thanks

Really nice capture, like the lone gull seems to balance the shot, great exposure.
Thanks Rob

Hi David.
I envy you this picture and the opportunity to take it. I really love the wonderful atmosphere of mornings like this. I was surprised to see you used the clarify command on this. Although I haven't used PSP for many years I remember it being a great tool for countering the effects of mist. You obviously judged its use to perfection perhaps to accentuate the nearest boat because the overall effect is superb. The flat misty background is perfectly enhanced by the crisp and contrasted foreground reflection. One more thing before I finish enthusing - the seagull may be small but it adds greatly to the composition.

Hi Dave.
For me, this shot isn't about the boat, it's about the light and the awesome reflections on the water. I love the fact that there just isn't an horizon - there's just a 'suggestion' of one.
Really impressionistic and subtle, this would also work superbly well as a mono conversion. Great work. Regards, Paul.

A wonderful moody photo. The bird makes the photo compleet and balance. I'm not sure if a small crop at the bottom would do good. I love how there is not horizon visable nad how you controlled the tricky exposure so well.

Impressive capture! Love the reflection of the boat. I amamazed with the sharpness in detail notwithstanding the thickness of the fog. A real stunner!!
