In the summer season this would be the place to take the ferry to the island of Vlieland. No cars are allowed there, but you can take your bike or rent one when arriving there. After the summerseason they remove the tocketbox and the woodenwalkway, only these poles will be standing here all winter long.
I was in need of a bit of sunshine and this one seems to provide that.

I am so enjoying enlarging these images and exploring them and there detail. This one is perfect for my indulgence. I love the flying gull the lighthouse and all the other really great things to see in this image. perfectly focused and timed. The textures in the water, sky and wood wonderful. There is nothing to change on this great seascape. Excellent.

hello Els,
A very interesting seascape. I love the line of poles marching across the dunes.
Well seen and presented with a very good composition.
Have a very Merry Christmas. Joni
