We are fortunate to have two small areas of bushland close by; both are remnants of the sclerophyll forests which once covered the area. Dry sclerophyll forests (and woodlands) typically consist of multi-aged stands of eucalypts and have an understorey dominated by hard leafed shrubs, grasses, sedges or bracken fern. Maybe I should look for some scenery in the archives myself, because I just did not have the time for photography. Those eucalyptus so remind me of South-Africa.Lovely to have those deep blue skies as a BG - hope the bad weather clears soon. Those rocks seem like an old fortification. I love the textures you have captured here, the smooth weather worn rock faces are amazing. Nicely composed with superb colour saturation... ah well I will just dream of nicer weather for the moment lol.
