And a lovely frog he is Jan. You have captured the moistness of his skin perfectly. Good natural colour. Great job of the eyes. Simple but very nice indeed.

A nice capture of this little guy, I think a diffuser on the flash would have stopped you getting the reflected light
Well done

A few hot spots of light, yet still a very clear and sharp capture of this fellow. Good, natural colors.

Hi Jan, I see from the exif camera data that you used flash to light the frog, but I think I agree with Andy that a diffuser would have helped with the hot spots that the flash has caused.

Not strictly speaking a macro, unless it was a very small frog or you had a very big camera (as its not recreated lifesize or larger on the sensor its really more of a close up). Agree with the comments above about the light, but still think its a nice shot - low down POV, good contact with the eye and sharp details.
Cheers....Mark

Hello Jan
A vefy nice shot heremy friend. I too agree with the comments about the diffuser.. only because I took some frog photos and the same advice was given to me too nice and sharply detailed, i think i would have moved the leaf that is stuck to his side. Superb catchlight in the eyes too.
Thank you for posting
kind regards Helen

Nice light used, he looks slimy. You added another dimensional effect to his skin by the light hitting his skin.
