I really like this! The colors reflecting from the CD are great as is the composition of the drops. I do feel that the drops should be in sharp focus since for me it is the main focal point of the photo.

Well this is really very good and even more considering its your first attempt. the detail and lighting is excellent and I think your going to be very sucessfull with your macro work, very well done.

Good interest, really like the rainbow of colors here.
Perhaps a bit of selective sharpening on the drops themselves would help?
Just a thought.
Good luck with that new macro lens, it's a whole new world to explore

Congratulations on your first macro and the result is amazingly sharp like a season macro shooters. Beautiful rainbow reflection inside the droplets and TFS.

This is your first attempt! Well done first timer! I love this and how the rainbow effects are also reflected in the water drops- well done!!! you turned 2 simple things into a really artsy image..
