This is the worst time to make picture midday, however it really shows how lught and bright Aruba is, even when there are clouds in the sky.
Here not even that brave little tree growing in the sand and living of seawater is the most important, here it was the sky that impressed me the most.
This is made with my old Konica Minolta Dynax 5D and kitlens - used F9 - ISO 100 - focal length 26 and exposure time 1/1250 which was needed because so much light was coming in and because I wanted to stop the actions of the wave. Also a 2 stops down exposure correction was used,
Hope you feel the warmth of that moment.

Good afternoon Els, lovely shot he three elements Sand, Sea and sky are nicely proportioned. I went to Aruba some years ago, I do remember it was always windy.

Greetings Els,
Wow-what a shot and i would love to be there right now. This living in the winter cold and snow is not fun! A great game here of light and composition with sea, sand and sun. Delightful!

HI Els
Most unusual to see this tree next to salt water and still look healthy.
Normally the salt does quite a job on the greenery.
Love it.

Hi Els,
A lovely composition. The lonely tree, the stones in the forground all blends nicely with the sea and the clouds.

Good composition.
I like the breaking wave behind the tree - sharp and clear, adding movement to the relaxed scene.
