A hand held macro of the flower from the passion fruit vine which grow over our hothouse. Unfortunately the vine, although flowering prolifically, does not produce fruit. For more about the plant see [ link ]

A safe and Happy New Year to all.

Good morning David

A superb shot here, excellent DOF giving good sharp detail in the foreground and enough detail in the BG but not too much to distract from the main image. Your choice of angle and balance within the frame here is superb and the lighting is just right my friend.

kind regards Helen

Hi David,
Excellent macro with some nice colours and details, I like your choice of POV here as most me included look straight down at the flower head, good to see that I'm not the only one to take hand held macro shots.
Well done
Regards Andy

When I see a shot like this it makes me appreciate even more the large view feature. I can go inside the flower and explore just as if it was with me. Love the POV and depth of field, but then you always seem to know how to get the most of your shots. Excellent work , my friend of many faces.
