Wonderful work here Peter very artisitic and effective.. One very small nit pick if I may, I would paint or clone out the odd lighter dots bottom left and to the top. Overall though a stunning image here.

Very interesting effect but it does emphasize the over exposure on the top of the index finger and the side of the cup. The effect works well with the simple subject matter, and it has taken what could be a rather uninteresting picture and made something which does draw attention.
