Last shot of these. This is my favourite one. I now know why a tripod is an essential bit of equipment!!! This was taken without but it was awkward trying to keep the camera still!!

Excellent viewpoint letting us see the crowd and the balloons in the distance. Wonderful light. Love the starburst too!

Hi !
enjoying the series and you're doing just fine ! Smile Yes indeed the night shots are quite the challenge !
Crowds and tripods don't mix ! Sad I'm looking forward to when they return to Waterford City Ireland in September . They were here in Waterford last year . Think I should begin staking out a good position for me and my tripod now ! Smile Nice to see the Waterford baloon ! Smile

Regards, Phil.

Absolutely beautiful and you have done so well here without a tripod I see your getting to grips with the new camera very nicely.
Thank you for posting
Kind regards Helen

Well for a shot without a tripod this is very good, the colours and details are good and there is very little noise from the high ISO, a nice series but I agree with you as this is my fav of them all.
Well done

WITHOUT A TRIPOD???? You have the steady hands of a surgeon. Amazing capture with such clarity and precise details. Love the perfect exposure with the light glowing from within the baloons. SUPERB!!!!

Hahahaha Diane. Not quite a surgeon!!!! Honest answer is I took a huge number of shots and only 2 or 3 came out any good. I will admit that a tripod is a must but was pleased this one came out ok.
