Mid-November scene of Jasper Lake in Jasper National Park. Not really a lake, but rather a widening of the Athabasca River which originates at the toe of Athabasca Glacier in the Columbia Icefields approximately 90 km upstream from this point and winds its way through Alberta to Lake Athabasca in the NE corner of the Province, and from there on to the Arctic Ocean.

This looks as if you've given it some sort of art treatment but whether you have or not I like the result a lot. Very nicely done.

I love the sweeping vista and the fading details on the mountains are perfect - gives a tremendous DOF. The cloud hovering above the tallest peak adds a final perfect touch to this big piece of delicious eye candy.
