Wow this is gorgeous, the very reason why I want to own an SLR and a macro lens! To take close-ups as good as this! Well done.

Well this is excellent Helen! with the finest of details and nice and close to show up all the little hairy bits so well! This looks like one of the "Sun fly" variety of hoverfly with the sort of "mint humbug" markings on the thorax 
You got the focus point spot-on for this one!

Hi Helen,
Either you have dug all the plants up in your garden or you have a no fly zone as all your shots are taken at your neighbours LOL.

Very nice indeed Helen, the background really shows the subject off.
