Oh, we'll ignore the focus (given the point and shoot) and say..What a great action shot, caught at the perfect moment! And what a magnificent animal. I like the dots too. Look forward to more!

The poke a dots are the thing that makes this, even taking away from the great timing of the shot. I do think you need to get at that Santa letter as you are ready for a camera that can handle the action when you can time it this well.

Joni, Hi:
The Dapple Grey horse with the rider dressed in poke a dots is well seen and presented. Marvelous action work with your point and shoot. Very nicely done with your system. Have a great weekend, my friend.
Thanks
Larry

Considering you used a point and shoot this is a great shot, I think the main focus problem is the shutter speed being a little slow. You have a good composition here and the colours are good, lets hope the letter to Santa works LOL.
Well done

Even with a point-and-shoot this is a good capture - the slightly oof effect helps accentuate the feeling of movement. Yes a more expensive camera could have produced a sharper end product, but its the photographer who takes the picture, not the camera......

An excellent action shot especially given the limitations of the point and shoot. Was Santa kind for Xmas and did he leave you with an SLR?
All the best for 2010.
