Hi Peeps

I have taken a bit of poetic licence with this one. I had intended to get some pictures of the nice autumn trees.. untill the wind arrived lol.

So today I was invited to take some photos of the football team my son plays for. Hey presto both their shirts (the orange ones) the opposing team. had Autumn colours so I thought I would sneak this shot in for the theme

First time I have tried to shoot a sporting event like this and brilliant fun it is, I tell you what it really makes you watch the match as I followed the ball contstantly through the lens.

Oh and Curtis my son is the one in the groovy green football boots.

Hi Helen,
Nice one for the theme!! It even has autumn colours in the background Smile I like your son's footy boots, very fetching! Always good to try something different once in a while and i think you've done well here, a nicely framed shot showing the argey bargey going on Smile
Regards Vic.

A different shot for autumn colours, but I don't think any of the tabloids will be knocking on your door asking you to join their sports desk! All a bit jumbled, and your son is hiding behind another player!! Still, I like the colours and the details are very sharp, so perhaps this is an invitation for even more practice?
Cheers....Mark

Great fall colors! Afer all - the theme didn't say 'fall foliage'.. You think fast on your feet, and the results are refreshing! (I think it's a good action shot..) :-))

Hi Helen I think this is a great shot for the theme. The players may be a little jumbled but it's very sharp and bright - for my a good action shot.

Hello Helen.
Those 'Fall' colours, goes in my imatination more like our National 'Orange' which is the name of our Royal House and of course our colour for all sports, when we present us abroad.
But ok, this picture makes the score 1- 0 for you, haha

I had a similar thought Helen but settled on a scene. Good colours and the players nice and sharp. I have tried taking photos of soccer games taking place over my back fence, not an easy task,
