I did a bit of adjustment with the arrangement of the leaves before taking this shot because i thought it already looked a bit like the eye of some strange beast. Smile

This isn't leaves is it? Its a close up of a welsh dragon! Great composition and nice colours in the leaves. A natural abstract that is very eye catching

The thumbnail of this "eye" sure caught my eye. A mushroom in the leaves?
Very intriguing shot.

My grandmother (if alive now would be well over 100) was a socialite, but she had a knack for arraigning flora and such for her friends...this she did as gifts instead of sending out. Much more personal but she was terrific as well as a classical pianist with her Steinway Baby Grand. SHE! She would have enjoyed this very much. It has her signature on it....perhaps you were gifted or perhaps we all aquire something special from the Ether beyond..of these things I know little..each much discover their own talents, but I know a good picture when I see one:-)

It's a little scary looking up close. I'm reminding myself.. it's just leaves and a tiny mushroom.. Great idea, with spot on details and exposure. Well executed Vic!

An excellent scan and some very fine detail and colour here. The fungus looks a little soft though most likely through lack of DoF in a close-up. I wouldn't mention it with most posts here but as you've probably noticed, I'm always more critical of posts by those who I consider at the top end of our craft (so there!). Smile Smile Smile

Vic, Hi:

Marvelous for the Theme. Original, creative and artistic. Splendid color, as well.

Thanks and have a good week.

From the thumbnail I thought it was a ship's rope Vic, how wrong I was. Excellent colour and your arrangemnet prior to the shot worked well,

That's different Vic, very well thought out, that scanner certainly gives good results, great colours and sharp.
Do you still use film?

Thanks
Gil
