hello Helen,
Nice stop action here with such clear colours and good lighting.
I may have been inclined to clone out the power pole.
have a good week, Joni

Good morning Helen.
Good 'shot'.! Perfectly choisen aperture and shutterspeed, as the players are good free of the background.
2-0 for you already.!
Cheers from Jan

Good capture Helen. Concentrate on the action by removing (cloning out) the telephone pole in the background and crop the player on the left. In fact - crop some foreground and sky too so as to get really close to the action and just leave the space on the right in the direction the play is moving.

Helen, Hi:
And he looks to be getting ready to score a goal. Marvelous action and colors. It is fun to do different types of photography from time to time and you have really done very nicely, my friend.
Thanks
Larry

A fine capture and you kept the Shutter speed up to avoid motion blur .. not easy but you pulled it off so well Helen.

Nice action-shot. Personally I would have cropped the boy on the left out to accentuate even more the action your son is doing in the match. Good to see he enjoys sports, I played football for more then 20 years. I recently had to stop because of back-problems.
Best regards,
Luc.
