Hello Paul
Yes loud and clear...
Pity a bit dull, with this weather light, hope you have a change to capture it while the light are on in the tree.
Best wishes from Jan

Clever shot that minimizes the ever present crowds and accents the beauty of the surrounding display of angels and their trumpets - heralding yet another Holiday season. And great focal point for Sunday's theme! Well done!

Nicely captured Paul, good colour under the wintery skies and a well composed image,

Just seen this on TV Paul ... 60 feet high and 8 miles of bulbs .. some tree.Difficult subject to take owing to the crowds there but you did well to isolate it, what time did you get there 8.00am Smile
I suppose we will speak again in the coming week but if not may I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas mate.

Thank you all for the comments and best wishes for a very Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year. Mick, the photo was taken around noon and I must have stood there for 15-20 minutes before getting a clear shot at the tree.

Now what you needed Paul was a replica snipers rifle .. the place would have cleared in 10secs .. just a little tip .. I always carry one at crowded events

Hello there Paul

Goodness this is quite a display and I love the POV you have chosen, excellent lines drawing teh eyes to the trees although i have to be honest and say I think the gold of the trumpets draws my attention a little from the tree, must be the magpie in me looking at shiney things lol. Overall though an excellent shot in what looks to be a busy place.. love Micks idea I think I shall add one to my camera kit too lol.

Seasons greeting to you and your family.

thank you for posting
kind regards Helen
