In front of my livingroom window is this scene - made up of items my mother has given me over the years, and the glass trees which were passed on to me this summer. It will be a 'tradition' now to have them on display each Christmas. It was snowing the day I took this.

Your capture radiates the true meaning of christmas and your notes reinforce the strong traditions that are handed down to us from our parents. I love the golden tones and the beautiful falling snow providing the backdrop.

Hello there Pat

Well what a warming view here and indeed your notes are lovely as we have teh same tradition in our family to pass on such decorations. I love how you composed this and the reflections in the window give that nice little added extra too.

Seasons greetings to you and your family

kind regards Helen

We spend so much time in our youth to focus on being ourselves only to find that we but an extension of those who loved us the most... Merry Christmas

It has all been said and all very true. I also have a single remnant of Christmas`s past. About a metre of red sparkly string type thing over 50 years old. The memories of this metre long decoration would fill Father Christmas`s sleigh a million times over! Happy Christmas Pat......Charlie.
