The lower perspective works for me with the prominent tree on the right standing out against the lightened quality of the sky. The pathway works well to lead the eyes of the viewer deep into the image. The dusting of snow is a pleasing finishing touch to the image.

Hello Mark,
You have a great spot to walk the dogs. the dusting of snow is very effective as is the perspective. The shot is nicely framed by the tree on the right. Happy new year, Joni

I agree. A pleasant composition and the nearest tree is a particularly fine shape.

Great example of 'radial composition!' That along with a colorful, dramatic sky, a pretty walkway leading us in, and that wonderful main tree as a focal point, and you've got a terrific winter scene.

All roads leads to Rome.
Well, from this place, part of you have to do by boat, right ?
Nice view, but imo compo wise, the tree needed to be more right downwards.
Regards, Jan
