Another one from over the holidays. I waded through knee high snow to get this one - I loved the shape of the tree.

A very nice composition with the tree filling half the frame with a very sharp silhouette .The low perspective was a good choice too .. it sure looks like a Arctic waste Smile

I thought before I opened the thumbnail that I would be looking at a seascape... that ocean of snow really fooled my eyes at the small size. I like the quality of the lighting (especially as it is caught on the snow covered landscape), the tree silhouetted against the sky and just the sense of cold that is created from the low perspective shooting over the snow covered field.

I love your perfect exposure here with the subtle light on the snow giving a gentle glow to the area below the tree. The saturation is pure candy to the eye. I also love the tree silhouette. Very nicely done.
