I like it as well Helen; only thing is I would have applied some PP work to darken the BG; if that tent would have been brown of white canvas then it would not distract me, but now it does. Was Miles hair in danger? seems like the professionals make sure there is no hair to mess with........
Have a nice weekend Helen,
Els

A good picture considering the shooting conditions - having traipsed around various game and country fairs I know it's not easy to get a good position to capture someone in a ring AND get a good background. The details are sharp, especially in the eagle, and colours good.
All the best

You need not have ran Helen, Miles had the perfect answer for you posting, although I am sure he shivered just a bit with the remembrance of all the blood. I personally don't have a problem with the back ground, there is good DOF so the eagle in particular holds my eye. Given the conditions you describe I think you did remarkably well here.

hello Helen,
A remarkable shot of the eagle and handler. Her eyes are amazing. The BG is of no mind. Very sharp and lovely natural colours. have a good Sunday. Joni

A fantastic capture, Helen, especially like the details of the eagle's talons on the leather gloved arm of the trainer. Well done!
