What a lovely typically English shot Vic, looks like it was taken early in the year by the trees, the small lights on the building, the smoke from the chimneys curling upward give give the impression that there is a chill in the air as night falls. One Nit .... the red phone box stands out to much for me .. either it has just had a coat of very red paint or the chroma slider went a little far.

An idyllic image of the small village in the English countryside. The stonework bridge serves to lead the viewer over the little stream into the village. Looks like a pleasant location for both a walk and many a photographic opportunity. Mick you have a sharp eye with the red phone box... I thought it was just someone crossing the bridge in a red winter jacket.

Vic, Hi:
This is so special because our oldest son and family live in Derbyshire. According to his phone call this AM they are covered in snow (as you suggest) and expecting maybe up to 8 inches this evening. He said it is the worst winter there since the 60's.
Splendid image - beautiful.
Very nicely done and a pleasure to look at and study.

Hiya Vic
WellI was going to type "Such a lovely typical English view" and I see it was the first thing Mick typed too lol, Nicely positioned shot with good detail and I love the little spatterings of colour with the lights on and is that an old telephone box I can see too?
Thank you for posting
kind regards Helen

I find the buildings and especially the bridge quite interesting. Technically everything is spot-on, and yet this doesn't have the visual appeal to me that #2 does.. I think because there are less contrasts and colours. Still, well presented with an excellent composition and pov.
