Hello friends.
Bare wintertime it still is here in Holland too.
Beside the house, the waterbirds are sticking together to keep as much as possible water unfrosen.
I did served them French Bread for breakfast, with my left hand and 'shoot' them with my right hand.
"Give what you take". right ?
Regards from Jan

I would imagine as with the human beings creatures such as these geese are truly suffering in the unusually cold weather that has hit Europe this Winter and the geese should thank you for providing them a "French breakfast". I see a hint of a catchlight in the goose's eye and I wonder if lightening the image slightly would have enhanced that catchlight?

Lovely shot Jan, so kind of you to look after these lovey birds when they need it the most, something that i'm sure many of us have been doing during these unusualy harsh weather conditions, they need all the help they can get!! Well done for getting such a good shot.... one-handed Wink Excellent work!
Regards
Vic.

I like how the perspective emphasizes the long neck. I, too, appreciate seeing what you are doing for them.

Good details and colours Jan. I like the diagonal composition with the goose practically filling the frame. Well done!

Good Morning, Jan:

I know a lot late and even late here. I like the way you are taking good care of the wildlife this tough winter. Very nice work.

Thanks
