Oh Phoebe what beuatiful blue eyes you have! (and yes peeps they really are this colour no PP work to enhance them)

Meet Phoebe, she belongs to the elderly lady who lives accross the road from me. She is a ragdoll cat and by the name you would immagine that she would be soft and pliable and easy going... well yes indeed generally that is a trait for this breed.

But alas not for Phoebe.. I swear I never met a more agressive and anti social cat in my life and she was an absolute nightmare to photograph... hmm ASBOs for cats lol.

Regardless of her mean nature you have to admit she is adorable to look at and I took a few shots for her owner last summer.. oops there was that S word again lol sorry about that Smile

Not sure that I quite got the crop right here, I did have to crop the BG a little and clone some distracting items out too. I know shes rather central to the shot but I did not want to crop away any of her long Wiskars.

Thanks for taking a peek

kind regards Helen

Those blue eyes really make the image for me but the strong presence of her whiskers adds a beautiful finishing touch. Oh one wishes that she had a pink end to her nose to allow it to stand out from the darkened fur around her nose.

Wow.. My complements for this gorgeous close up of Phoebe, dear Helen.
I know these cats are mostly not so nice as others are.
More like women, the lovelier they look, the more CAT they are, right ? sniff.. haha
Perfectly Captured and good work on it, Helen.

Beautiful blue eyes! A cat with a mean streak....i've come across quite a few that don't like to be stroked.... usualy ends up with blood being drawn Smile
This one looks like butter wouldn't melt in it's mouth....deceptive!
You've done a great job getting such a good shot of her, well done Helen!
Regards
Vic.

Love the charming inquisitive look. One would never know she is as you describe. Will have to introduce her to my son's cat, sounds like they could be sisters.

I really like how those beautiful eyes dominate. Mean though she may be, she is beautiful and your patience paid off.

So very beautiful Helen. I had a Balinese with eyes this blue -- she was the most loving and wonderful kitty. Sadly, I lost her two months ago, so Phoebe reminds me of her. Love the whiskers.

Now me .. I would be wary of a cat like this with deep blue eyes especially after watching a horror film . Excellent capture .. sharp .. in focus .. and Purrfectly Captured .com Smile!

Your crop and composition really accent those already stand-out eyes. I also like her 'pose' and that nice shallow dof. Great work, and a fine portrait for your neighbor! I have a cat next door who's just the same way! Tsk... Won't even let me pet her...
