If only this chain was longer...
Taken on the same winter walk as last post, this poor horse standing in the blizzard almost within reach of some sheter by the trees..
Ps work
Slight crop
adjusted levels and curves to add more contrast
slight increase in saturation to bring out the horses colour and falling snow.

Just another day. I suppose they get used to it. Fine whites portray winter snow very well.

One feels so sorry for the horse but as Photosteve stated perhaps to become used to being out in the weather... one would hope so. The contrast between the more darkened nature of the horse's form and the muted snowy background serves to make the creature visually "pop" in the picture for me.

Your picture certainly tells the story of this poor animals plight. Nicely done Rob.

A lovely image Rob with the colours of the horse standing out nicely against the seemingly grey surrounds. Horses here in cooler weather usually wear quite thick coast strapped to their bodies,

Absolutely beautiful, this image really appeals to mem indeed very cold and I do feel for the poor pony but all credit to your capture that conveys that feeling perfectly. Lovely contrast and a well positioned shot too.

Thanks for posting
kind regards Helen

The fact that the horse has snow on its back means its coat is keeping it warm!
